Desktop shortcut

Trying to create a desktop URL shortcut for all computers in one of our labs. I want it to appear regardless of who logs on. I created my GPO and under the Computer Configuration>Preferences>Windows Settings>Shortcuts, I have the following:

Action: Create
Target Type: URL
Location: All Users Desktop

Item Level Targeting:

The DNS Computer Name is

I have it set to HS-842-NC* so it pertains to any workstation with that naming convention. I cannot get the shortcut to show up on the desktop. I have confirmed KB943729 is installed on the workstation. Any ideas?

I would try it first with one computer with the whole name and see if the shortcut shows up. Maybe it does not allow that and its just reading as if the computer name is actually HS-842-NC*.
