Review GPO prefernece setting on XP or 2003

what tool(s) can you use to troubleshoot GPO preferences setting on XP or 2003 systems that have CSE installed.

I dont see where you can find out what settings are being applied to a target system from the target system. rsop.msc GPMC, gpresult, System information, etc. dont seem to display what is being done. How do our desktop techs and helpdesk troubleshoot what is getting applied while they are working from the client O/S?

is there a registry location that stores this information?
