Hi All,

Recently GPMC has been unable to generate the the HTLM settings report for a particular policy from any workstation or DC's.

The policy is still applying correctly and the settings are included in a group policy modelling report.

We are currently in the process of updating our domain controllers to Win 2K3 sp1 with a single DC still to go. I will be completing the update tonight and was sort of hoping the report will fix itself after that, I realise that his might not be the case as the GPMC is not looking at that particular DC when the report fails.

As a side note when I attempt to edit the policy concerned on the non sp1 DC, the GPMC complains about the ADM templates and says that the descriptions are being truncated.

I have not had much luck finding any info onthe web and was wondering if anybody had experienced similar issues?
