Default Server 2003 Central Store with Vista AND Windows 7 clients

    Hi,

We have been managing Vista clients from a Server 2003 Central Store with ADMX files in a 'PolicyDefinitions' folder. Now if I want to
manage Windows 7 do I create a folder with a different name and copy the Win 7 ADMX files there? Seems like I'd overwrite the Vista
ADMX's by copying to the same folder.

    What am I missing?

According to Jeremy's Book, Group Policy - Fundamentals, Security and the Managed Desktop, on page 311 it discusses Updating the Central Store and how whether its Vista, Windows 7, Windows 7 SP1 or whatever future service pack, one simply copies the latest ADMX and ADML files from the local store into the PolicyDefinitions directory on the SYSVOL folder in the central store. The PolicyDefinitions folder is the only folder there is.
