Would it be a possibility to use the GPMC to get the same result?
If you use the Group Policy Results section in the GPMC, you get the same result.

So we upgraded our central store ADMX/ADML files with the latest from MS to get all the fun win7 stuff. I use GPMC on my win7 box and i can edit GPO's. But... when i join my win Vista machines and run GPResult to ensure the policy is applying i get:
Expected one of the following possible element(s), <text>, <decimalTextBox>, <textBox>, <checkBox>, <comboBox>, <dropdownList>, <listBox>, but found <multiTextBox> instead. File \\testitfred.fredtest.com\sysvol\testfred.fredtest .com\Policies\PolicyDefinitions\en-US\terminalserver-Server.adml, line 198, column 60
Encountered an unknown error while parsing (error = 0x87400001): -2025848831 (0x87400001) File \\testifred.attfred.com\sysvol\testifred.fredtest. com\Policies\PolicyDefinitions\terminalserver-Server.admx, line 9, column 41
I found this which explains in detail what is going on for GPMC:

So the "tool" i need to upgrade is GPResult so i can ensure policies are applying on down level clients. Thoughts?
