I have a GPO with registry settings stored in Computer/Local Policies/Security Options. None of these reg keys are visible in GPMC. The keys are stored in the in this file in the GPO repository on SYSVOL (I used a backup of the GPO to find it, so the path may not be 100% accurate):
{guid}\DomainSysvol\GPO\Machine\microsoft\windows nt\SecEdit\GptTempl.inf.

My question - would editing the .INF file to remove the unwanted reg keys have an detrimental effect on the GPO? Corrupt it in any way?
