    Default Missing policies?

I'm trying to tweak the "Point and Print" policy per this article

    Control Printer Driver Installation Security

However, the said policy does not exist in Computer | Policies | Admin Templates | Printers in my environment. I tried it from three different Win2008 R2 servers just to be sure, and it's missing on all of them.

I *have* been using a Win2008 (non-R2) setup with central store per Jeremy's book from a couple of years ago (when 2008 came out). Is this causing a problem? It's as if the 2008R2 policies don't exist, but I have no idea why and no idea how to fix it.

    Default similar issues!

I have similar issues on my network - I have a 2008 functional domain with 2 2008 DC's and 2 2008R2 DC's (one at a remote site). The policies regarding RemoteApp are completely missing!!

Sounds like you need the updated R2 policy templates. Try replacing your central store admx files from here: Download details: Administrative Templates (ADMX) for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7

    Hope that helps.
