The GPMC must be installed on Windows XP SP1 or newer.
You will see the button appear on the machine the GPMC is installed on, it won't affect any other machines. It basically modifies the tab of the mmc add-in on the machine.

Hi all
Just need something cleared up...
On page 18, it says after loading GPMC on a computer in the domain, GPO management in Active Directory will change. ie. Group Policy tab will refer to a button.
Can someone confirm if this is just 2003, because my AD machine is 2000 and there hasn't been any changes.
