    P. 507: "Running RIS on your workstations completely formats the first hard drive". It formats the first partition, but you can configure your SIF to not blast anything beyond that.

    I've not been able to get RIS's .SIFs to whomp anything except the whole hard drive..

    Can you elaborate and provide the SIF entries
    which work for you?

    Well, according to the ref.chm file, you can set an autopartition = 1 setting in the [DATA] section. This will install windows to the first available partition with enough space to do a windows install AND that doesn't already contain an installed version of windows.

    Never tried using the setting myself, but I thought I would throw it out there if someone wanted to try it.
