Hi,

I'm actually working my way through the new GPO fundamentals book but as there is no forum yet i'm posting my problem here.

on page 180 i read vista only allows normal users to do RSOP on user portion and i should configure "Read group policy result data" delegation to work around this. Now i have configured this in my test lab delegating this right to a specific user but for some reason this still does nog seem to work.

What i have is an OU with users and an OU with computer objects. I configured the delegation on the computer object OU, rebooted the Vista system (should not really be needed i guess), logged on to the vista with the user i just granted the rights an ran gpresult /scope computer /r but still get an access denied.

Can anyone in more detail explain how to grant normal users the right to run RSOP on a vista system from a cmd box?

Thanks,

Tom
